Cory's take: "I was so disappointed to hear the incumbent from District 66- who ran as a pro-business 'conservative Democrat' last election- angrily attacking Governor Haley Barbour's leadership, on behalf of Speaker McCoy. The approach of the current House leadership has been ineffective. I will set a more proactive, positive tone in the House, and I will work with the Governor for the future of our neighborhoods and our state."
March 17 Analysis from Webb Wilson
As the Wilsons were driving by the State Capitol Building on the way home from the Mal's St. Paddy's Day Parade, Webb Wilson exclaimed, "Look Daddy, it's the White House!" Cory corrected Webb and told him that the State Capitol was where Legislature meets. Webb replied, with wisdom beyond his three years, "Daddy, we will go there, and then we can potty train."

August 16- Cory Wilson has been endorsed by the Mississippi Medical Political Action Committee, which represents physicians across Mississippi. One of the reasons is that the Mississippi Medical PAC and Cory Wilson agree that tort reform--ending "jackpot justice" lawsuits against our medical and business communities--has been critical to both economic growth and our access to quality health care. Mississippi's doctors have also thrown their support behind Cory Wilson because they know that we need new leadership in the House of Representatives. Cory Wilson will vote for a new Speaker of the House. His opponent will not. There's the clear choice in this election, and Cory is very grateful to have help from Mississippi's doctors in his effort to bring new leadership to the House.
